A new employee program gives Wendy’s workers a shot at discounted muscle-car power
20 minutes ago

- Wendy’s employees can buy select models at 1% below factory invoice.
- The offer saves up to $2,600 on a 2026 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat.
- Dodge confirmed the 2026 Durango will be available nationwide soon.
Working at a Wendy’s in the US might not sound like a gateway to muscle-car ownership, but thanks to FCA’s Affiliate Rewards program, it’s possible for those behind the counter to snag a deal on something far more exciting than a Baconator combo, like a V8-powered 2026 Dodge Durango.

According to a dealer bulletin, employees at “select companies designated by FCA US LLC,” including Wendy’s, are eligible to purchase new vehicles through the program at “1 percent less than the factory invoice, plus a $75 administration fee,” as reported by Cars Direct.
Before you start crunching numbers and scratching your head, that’s not a one percent discount off invoice, but effectively 99 percent of the invoice price.
The same letter confirms that the updated 2026 Durango, including the headline-grabbing SRT Hellcat variant, qualifies for the offer.
How Much Can They Save?
For most shoppers, the lowest price on a 2026 Durango SRT Hellcat sits at its MSRP of $79,995. With an invoice price of $78,115, Wendy’s employees end up saving roughly $2,600 from MSRP through the program, enough for a few thousand spicy nuggets or a summer’s worth of Frostys, depending on priorities.
That’s a decent amount, although Cars Direct says it’s possible even larger the 2026 Durango could get even more affordable in the future. This time last year, the 2025 model was available with discounts of up to $7,100.
It’s unclear why Wendy’s is among the companies involved in the Affiliate Rewards program, and if it’s simply a matter of Stellantis executives being big fans of the food chain’s burgers, fries, and drinks, or if there’s another reason for it.
Durango Hellcats Go Nationwide
There’s also the matter of availability. While it has been several months since Dodge introduced the new Durango, the 6.4-liter HEMI and 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat models are not yet available nationwide.
As we revealed earlier this week, there are still seven CARB-regulated states where these models are forbidden fruit, such as California, New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Washington, and Vermont.
However, a recent dealer guide confirmed that the SUVs will soon receive CARB approval, and once they do, they will be available in every single US state.
When that happens, a Wendy’s crew member anywhere in the country could, at least in theory, spend their next lunch break tearing down the quarter-mile in a Durango Hellcat with a value meal in the cup holder.
