Mansory Turned A Bentley Into A Banana on Wheels

  • The bright yellow Bentley sports a new hood, front grille, and splitter.
  • It rides on custom 22-inch forged wheels finished in gloss black.
  • Inside, yellow leather contrasts sharply with bright white trimmings.

Bentley recently unveiled the all-new Continental GT Supersports, a car it says delivers a more involving drive by switching to rear-wheel drive instead of the all-wheel setup used elsewhere in the range. The debut car arrived wearing a sharp new body kit, but compared to what Mansory has just turned out, it looks practically restrained.

The latest Continental GT overhauled by the controversial European tuner isn’t based on the Supersports, but it does feature a host of aggressive styling changes.

However, whereas the upgrades that Bentley made to the Supersports have an aerodynamic purpose, and actually look quite nice, Mansory has simply thrown some forged carbon fiber at the luxury two-door and called it a day.

It’s at the front where the most theatrical changes have been made. A forged carbon hood has been added to the Bentley, now sitting alongside a distinctive carbon grille and carbon accents around the front air intakes and across the lower chin spoiler.

While forged carbon has its place on track cars, like the Lamborghini Huracan STO, it looks out of place on a car like a Continental GT.

Unfortunately, it’s not just the front of the Bentley that has been changed. Mansory has added more forged carbon to the door skins, wing mirrors, and side skirts. It’s also added it to a small lip spoiler sitting above the rear window, a second spoiler on the decklid, and a dramatic diffuser.

Had this Bentley been painted black, the carbon parts wouldn’t have been as noticeable. But, as the car is painted yellow, the carbon really stands out. Completing the exterior changes – but not improvements – are 22-inch forged wheels.

Inside, Mansory has applied the same heavy hand. The steering wheel, door panels, center console, seats, and even the lower dashboard are wrapped in bright yellow leather with white accents, though here, the changes when taken out of the visual chaos of the exterior, almost make sense.

} else {

}
});

No pricing has been shared, but that hardly matters. Anyone willing to sign off on this amount of forged carbon and yellow leather has probably stopped checking invoices long ago.
