Barugzai named its latest Range Rover after a dinosaur and made sure it looks like one too

- Third-gen Range Rover Sport gets dramatic new bodykit from Barugzai.
- The tuner’s Raptor kit includes 24-inch wheels and widebody extensions.
- Custom upgrades add bumper flares, aero trim, and dual rear spoilers.
The Range Rover Sport has long been a favorite canvas for tuners, positioned as a more refined rival to the Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5 or X6. Adding its own brash twist to the formula, UK-based company Barugzai has introduced the Raptor bodykit for the latest generation of the luxury SUV.
Most people link the Raptor name to Ford’s pumped-up Ranger, Bronco, and F-150 models, but Barugzai went prehistoric instead, borrowing it from the predator dinosaur. The company was founded by Naveed Barugzai Khan, who, despite the familiar surname and similar obsession with tweaking Range Rovers, has no connection to Afzal Kahn of Project Kahn fame.

Up front, the Barugzai kit replaces the traditional Range Rover badge with the company’s own lettering, mounted on a reshaped hood featuring integrated vents. The SUV also receives a new three-piece grille and a heavier bumper extension fitted with additional LEDs, a splitter, and glossy black trim linking the enlarged intakes.
The profile stands out thanks to the wide fenders that extend to the front and rear bumpers. The tuner has also added deeper side skirts with gloss black details, and a new set of 24-inch forged alloy wheels called “E11EVEN”.

At the back, there is an oversized wing mounted on the roof and a second spoiler above the taillights. The tuner also offers a smaller option for those who don’t want excessive aero components. Finally, the rear bumper extension leads to a sporty diffuser which houses quad exhaust pipes with carbon fiber trim.

Overall, the Raptor looks wilder than any stock version of the Range Rover Sport, although the glossy black bits have a plasticky appearance that feels a little outdated.
Only Skin Deep
Barugzai’s upgrades are limited to the exterior, leaving the cabin and mechanicals untouched. Depending on the chosen variant, the Range Rover Sport continues to deliver anything from 247 hp (184 kW / 250 PS) from the 3.0-liter six-cylinder turbodiesel, to 626 hp (467 kW / 635 PS) in the performance-focused SV, powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8.
Pricing details for the Raptor kit have not been released, but a look at Barugzai’s online shop suggests a ballpark figure. Previous-generation bodykits list at £5,995 (about $8,200), while most of the company’s 24-inch wheels are priced at £1,995 (around $2,700). For a closer look, Naveed Barugzai Khan himself presents the full package in a detailed video.
