- Lamborghini slid off an Idaho road before crashing into several trees.
- Both the front and rear of the supercar sustained major damage.
- The Huracan is almost certain to be declared a complete write-off.
There’s something about high-powered supercars and quiet suburban roads that rarely ends well. A green Lamborghini Huracan has been left with extensive damage after a crash in Post Falls, Idaho, and in news that likely won’t shock anyone, the car reportedly belongs to a well-known content creator.

adpushup.que.push(function() {
if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”){
adpushup.triggerAd(“0f7e3106-c4d6-4db4-8135-c508879a76f8”);
} else {

}
});
While local authorities haven’t confirmed an official cause, it doesn’t take much imagination to piece together what might have gone wrong.

The crash took place earlier this week at the intersection of 2nd and Greensferry Streets. Photos show the Huracan off the road and buried in a row of trees, its paintwork contrasting with the splintered branches around it.
Making matters worse, the car, owned by young influencer and YouTuber Jake Schnatter, wasn’t exactly stock. It had been fitted with a twin-turbo kit and a collection of aftermarket upgrades designed to push its performance beyond factory limits.
Images taken after the crash and a video shared on Instagram by Schnatter seem to indicate that he lost control while driving on a straight stretch of road. Tire marks can be seen running across the pavement and to the side of the road, where the Huracan appears to have crashed through a wire fence and hit at least one large tree.

The full extent of the damage done isn’t known, but we’d be very surprised if the car isn’t declared a write-off. The passenger-side rear quarter appears to have taken a significant hit, leaving it with a massive dent that probably didn’t just ruin the bodywork but may have also caused some structural damage. In addition, part of the front bumper has been ripped off.
Taking to Instagram after the crash, Schnatter confirmed that neither he nor his passenger was injured in the crash.

});
While the Lamborghini’s body has obviously seen better days, the car’s modified 5.2-liter V10 engine could be saved and perhaps used for another project. Either that or this Huracan could be turned into a dedicated track car.
