Skoda celebrates 13 decades of history with Kamiq 130 Years Edition

The 2026 Skoda Kamiq 130 Years Edition has been confirmed for Australia ahead of its local release in November, priced at $44,990 before on-road costs – $1100 more than the flagship Kamiq Monte Carlo.

However, like the 130 Years Editions of the Karoq mid-size SUV and the Elroq electric SUV, the special-edition small SUV comes “fully loaded” with a host of unique extra equipment to mark the Czech brand’s 130 anniversary.

Featuring the same turbocharged 110kW/250Nm 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission as the Monte Carlo, the Kamiq 130 Years Edition is claimed to offer one of the highest torque figures among front-wheel drive compact SUVs.

Building on the standard equipment lists offered by the entry-level Kamiq Select 85TSI and the top-shelf Monte Carlo 110TSI, the 130 Years Edition brings 19-inch silver ‘Fornax’ alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, chrome roof rails and window surrounds, matrix LED headlights (low- and high-beam) with dynamic cornering and a hands-free power tailgate.

Inside, the Kamiq 130 Years Edition scores a larger 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system (up from 8.25-inch in the base Kamiq) with navigation, a 10-inch ‘Virtual Cockpit’ digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charger and 10-speaker Canton sound system.

There’s also leather- and Alcantara-appointed seat trim, a heated steering wheel with paddle shifters, power-adjustable driver’s seat (including lumbar) with memory, heated front and rear outboard seats, push-button start, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror and LED ambient interior lighting.
