The Prestige Black trim sports dark accents inside and out

- Genesis has introduced Prestige Black versions of the G80, G90, GV80, and GV80 Coupe.
- Exterior upgrades include gloss black grille, dark badging, and up to 22-inch wheels.
- Interiors feature black Nappa leather, open-pore wood trim, and anodized speaker grilles.
Blackout packages have exploded in popularity and nearly every automaker offers one. We can now add Genesis to the mix as they’ve unveiled a Prestige Black trim for the 2026 G80, G90, GV80, and GV80 Coupe.
Set to be offered in the United States and Canada, the models have a “striking monochrome design” with black accents and a Vik Black or Uyuni White paint job. Buyers will also find upgraded interiors with a handful of special touches.

Kicking things off is the $79,350 G80 Prestige Black, which features a gloss black grille as well as gloss black accents on the bumpers and door handles. They’re joined by black headlight bezels, dark badging, black brake calipers, and black 20-inch wheels with floating center caps.
The theme continues inside with Black Ash open-pore wood trim and black Nappa leather seats that have a unique quilted pattern. Designers also gave the model black switchgear and air vents as well as anodized black speaker grilles. Rounding out the highlights are exclusive key fobs and a tweaked infotainment system with special touches.
The $105,750 G90 Prestige Black is largely identical, but it features larger 21-inch alloy wheels with a black finish. Buyers will also find fancier Black Ash open-pore wood trim with a brass-colored G-Matrix inlay.
On the crossover side, the GV80 Prestige Black starts at $83,250 and features many of the same upgrades as the G80. However, there are some differences including gloss black roof rails and larger 22-inch wheels wrapped in all-season tires. Buyers will also find a five-passenger interior with power reclining rear seats.
The GV80 Coupe Prestige Black echoes the aforementioned model, but is significantly more expensive at $89,400. It also appears to give up a number of goodies including the gloss black roof rails and power reclining rear seats.
Additional details will be released later this year and Genesis Motor North America COO Tedros Mengiste said, “North American customers are increasingly looking for vehicles that express their personal style while offering exceptional craftsmanship. Prestige Black delivers exactly that.”
